THE HORNET’S PARADOX

THE HORNET’S PARADOX

Besides being a movie, maybe to see, maybe not, the hornet’s story is really strange.

Science and physics have long wondered how such a heavy creature could fly with those tiny wings.

A matter of surfaces and lift, but not at all superficial and indeed very important!

Many scientist are damned because doing and re-doing their complex calculations the results remain accurate, but they, the hornets continue to fly anyway, and even noisily!

A thorn in the side of logic, a real dilemma.

As disobedient and rebellious guys, they continue to contradict, transgress, and break rules, and we do not talk that I know of coming back later in the evening or maybe a little’ make up too, no, here it is just upset the order of things, the laws of physics and matter, that even if they are not written in stone as the commandments know it still long enough.

That I know, paradoxes like the one of the cheese (more cheese there is, more holes there are, but more holes there is less cheese..) of the egg and the hen (I vote the egg!) or like the one quoted by Joker to Batman:

“That’s what happens when an unstoppable force meets a non-removable object. You are truly incorruptible, aren’t you? You don’t kill me for a sense of superiority and I because you’re too funny. I believe we are destined to fight forever!”

What to say?

Although they hate each other to death (it would be more correct to say “just for that”) those two can not separate!

It will be the charm of impossible things, it reminds me of when I was a boy..

The more they told me I couldn’t do something, the more I couldn’t, the more I felt challenged, the more I tried.. Well you understood the meaning of the story and together the meaning of the term Paradox:

Going against, “beyond the opinion” of others

It may not be enough, because if those opinions become convictions, thoughts like “I’m worth nothing, I’ll never make it” and so on, the matter can get much more complicated.

It’s not like everyone comes to say “Go! Go, you can do it! Come on you’re strong!” then one unlocks and starts flying, and I don’t think that’s how psychotherapy works!

In short I do not know if the story of the hornet is true, the fact that he flies because he does not know that he can’t fly, but I like to think so, because besides remembering a certain way of being teenagers, it also resembles some other complicated stories.

They exist because the protagonists do not know the opinions, the judgments, the calculations and the reasons why they should not love each other.

They just love.

It must be because some of them seem to have wings.
