There’s a curious saying, about relationships and heredity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI took from my father\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201che took from our mother\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201che took from me\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s good for biology, \u201cWe have dark eyes and so does our son. He took from us\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But for the mind, which is immaterial, what is it that is taken? But then\u2026does he take it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In sayings or idioms there is always a grain of truth, but it is a question of perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cmy mother is anxious, I got it from her\u201d but anxiety is not material like eyes. You don’t see it as the green around the pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That people, sometimes, can do with their minds what they do with their hands?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And what you take\u2026can you even leave?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why should I take the anxiety\u2026the agitation, the anger?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Almost all of us took our father’s last name, and he took his father’s\u2026but why did anyone take his depression too?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Imagine a newborn baby, looking for breasts and a relationship that meets both physical and emotional needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The milk is coming, the belly is full\u2026and the rest?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the physicist had what he was looking for but satiety is a necessary but not sufficient condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s what I can’t touch, eat\u2026 that meets the needs. E\u2019 the beautiful contents that, like milk, are \u201cin\u201d\u2026 but there is no mouth that can take them out. E\u2019 a gift from another, which one wants to receive, is the product of a relationship. It’s not his arm. It’s not his smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But you can give away what you have\u2026if you have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And if that \u201cinternal milk\u201d is lacking, one loses one’s eyes to \u201csee beyond\u201d the physical and disappointment makes the mind mouth. He does not take the content but what he thinks is the essence of the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And you don’t increase something of your own in the relationship with the other, but you take from the other what seems to be the reality of that relationship. Convinced that he could do no differently. Not even in the other reports. And so \u201cI put in\u201d, taking, what I find. And relationships fill but do not enrich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But putting yourself inside aspects of the other means becoming a photocopy of them. Never going any further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And what is a pathological dynamic passes for physiological heredity and the following thought is \u201cit went badly for me, it’s their fault, I can’t change if they don’t change\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cyes, my mother is very anxious too\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You took her eyes, but do you look at the world like her?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
